The Cumbrae townn of Millport has moe cycle hire shops per head of population than any other town in Scotland. It's a very popular activity for day visitors and the place to get back onto a bike for the first time since childhood.

The ten-mile circuit of the island is an ideal starter and, for the more adventurous, a figure of eight route is possible adding a few miles by going over the centre of Great Cumbrae.
