All routes start from Girvan Harbour. Head along line of River to traffic lights and go straight through. Bear right round monument into The Avenue. Continue to end (0.5 mile) and turn left. At next T-junction turn right onto B734. Continue to Old Dailly (church on left)
Route A only - turn left past Old Church and continue round. At T-junction turn left and left again at next. Continue for 2.5 miles and (1) turn left at old mill (before main road). Pass under main road turn right then left into Golf Course Road. Follow round into Girvan and turn right then rights again at traffic lights.
Route B only - at Old Dailly continue straight on to Dailly. Turn left at end of houses (2) to pass through village. At end of Main Street turn right over Water of Girvan. At T- junction turn left. Continue for 5 miles to (1) above.
Routes C - at Old Dailly turn right and climb hill. After 0.75 mile bear left (signposted Barr). Continue to Barr. Leave Barr- by turning left at King's Arms. Continue for 1.25 miles and turn left crossing Water of Girvan . At T- junction (4.5 miles) turn left. Turn right into Dailly and continue from (2) above.

During the day Girvan can have a purposeful hustle and bustle but you don't have to cycle far before it's left behind.
The rides take advantage of the roads which run along both side of the wooded River Girvan valley.
Routes (a) and (b) are relatively flat but (c) should be seen as a more committed adventure with some sustained hills.
